This is the absolute WORST digital copy on ANY book that I have ever used!!! First, it is apparently not designed for the Kindle Voyage (a fact that was not disclosed when I bought it). Second, when trying to read it on the Kindle Fire, the font is so tiny that it is practically unreadable without a magnifying glass and when one tries to change the font size, that option is not available; when you turn the Kindle horizontally, the font is now of readable size but there are sections of text that are missing and to not want to load. I will NEVER purchase a digital textbook through Amazon EVER again!! When I called customer service at Amazon, I was told that my only option at this point is to buy a hardcopy of the book and return the digital one. I am trying to read coursework that is assigned and find that I cannot complete the required reading and will have to find a hardcopy of this book and wait for it to be delivered - wasting precious time that I just do not have.If I could give zero stars on this one I would.
I’m pretty annoyed with the quality of this book. I turned pages gently and they are falling out of the binding. It’s very poorly bound and it’s really frustrating.Edit: literally minutes after writing my first review, this “very good†book that I’ve used ONCE completely fell apart.
This is by far one of the best evidence-based practice books I have found. Very clear and concise. Takes you step-by-step through the entire process. This is a great resource book if it's not being used for a course. Overall very detailed and supportive of the EBP process. Highly recommended for research or for EBP projects in any nursing field.
The book and content are very easy to understand without being overly complicated. The only issue I have is not with the book content but with the binding. When you open to a page and try to flatten the book out, the pages sometimes become unglued. I fixed this by taping in the pages that unglued with packing tape but still frustrating that it does that. Hopefully the manufacturer will remedy this for future publications.
The content is fine but I guess I need a three ring binder. This book is the most recent version so I'm not sure how long it was sitting around in someone's garage but every page I read--falls out. Is it crappy manufacture? Who knows? I have to keep it together with spring clips. :(
The authors have made this useless book unreadable. In an attempt to not plagiarize the multiple cited passages, it reads like a thesaurus on crack. It was like torture. Please, teachers, don't choose this book unless you secretly hate your students.
My book is literally falling apart, pages are coming out left and right. This book is poorly put together which is not very helpful when studying through a Mater's Program. Thank goodness it has page numbers so I can see where each page actually belongs but this is creating so much more work for me when I already work full time, am going to graduate school and have a very busy/active family schedule.
Book content is fine, however, I am 2 weeks into my course and the binding has pulled away from the glued pages and the pages are falling out of the book. Unsatisfied with the quality and highly disappointed. My educational program requires physical books and I must somehow keep this one together or purchase another! Perhaps a zip top baggie?
