Omg! I love, love, LOVE Toby Neal!!! This book is everything that I hoped and so much more!! Toby did an outstanding job again. After surviving yet another attempt on her life, Sophie finds that life has thrown her another curve and what a curve it is! She finally realizes with whom her heart lies and I’m beyond excited about her choice! Her mother, while somewhat useful but not without a price, remains an issue but Sophie refuses to let her barge into her life and attempt to control her. Things are changing for Sophie and she may finally be well on her way to a long deserved healing path. I’m so super excited for Sophie and where her new journey takes her. I can’t wait for her next adventure!
This might be the best book in the Sophie Ang saga, and that’s saying a lot. There’s plenty of what I’ve come to expect from Neal: engaging characters, a tight well written plot, deep appreciation of Hawaiian people and culture, emotional struggle and personal growth. It was good to see Sophie react to the unexpected by standing up for herself, not giving in to pressure, and especially making what seem like healthy life choices. She still has some formidable adversaries out there, though. Being Sophie, there may be some changes in direction. I found the teaser for the next book to be intriguing. I’m looking forward to the next installment.
I loved this continuation in the Paradise Crime Series. Sophie is such an amazing character and the entire story has answered a few threads along the way. Thank goodness Connor finally figured things out! And that dastardly Pim Wat, good old mom, haha. Ugh.This story was well put together, well thought out, even though Ms. Neal said she wrote it off the cuff it reads as a completely believable and thoroughly interesting bookI am so greedy, I need the next book, SOON!Of course I recommend it and all the rest of her books as well.
As Sophie is recovering from yet another physical attack, she realizes she might be pregnant-but who is the father, Alika or Jake? The Chang she testified against & was sent to prison, escaped on the way and Sophie is at the top of his revenge list. An exciting read with lots of action.
This was another exciting story with Jake and Sophie solving yet another mystery and managing to survive. Sophie makes some major decisions in this episode that you won't want to miss. Sophie's mom is plotting who knows what for Sophie just when her known enemies have been eliminated and she can relax for a change. I think I need to relax after getting caught up in all this intrigue!
I've been following author Toby Neal on facebook and when she announced the release of the latest in the series, I had to buy it. I read this book - slowly - to make it last a little longer. I loved it and will go back and re-read it, just to make sure I didn't skim over anything. This is my favorite book in the Sophie Ang series yet. Thank you for the great read Toby. Love how you tied things out with all her men.

Loved this latest edition of the Wired, Sophie Ang series and read it in one day. The book is full of twists and turns and keeps your attention. Sophie, once again, finds herself in physical danger when an old nemesis is after her. She also is dealing with a surprise pregnancy and discovers who her true soulmate/love is.
