This is a book worth having. It has pages, words and even pictures and diagrams...... AMAZING! Lucky for me I grew up in a time when one had to physically open books and turn the pages manually, so I knew how to use it and it works very well thank you to the seller for having this wonderfully useful book.
Chilton manuals tend to be somewhat too general for my taste. Aside from having this manual as a reference, I've found youtube videos helpful, when trying to resolve a specific mechanical/car problem. I would say save your $ and borrow this manual, or find alternative resources to solve your mechanical issue(s).
I own a 1998 Honda Civic EX and this book has provided me with both the basics and details to work on my car effectively and safely. I used this book recently to locate oxygen sensors and how they would affect my cat-back exhaust set up I did along with headers and intake.Provides a detailed look at your car that only Haynes can match. Great buy and pictures are both abundant and helpful.

The task at hand was to change out my catalytic converter, there was nothing about changing a catalytic converter.I know the manual will come in handy soon.I was getting 38.5 MPG on the highway prior to my check engine light coming on, I changed both upper and lower oxygen sensors and now all I'm getting is around 33 MPG.I hope the manual has some tips on how to improve gas mileage, I have not looked yet.I welcome any tips on better gas mileage.Thanks

Good little book, though, I ended up purchasing Hayes also. Hayes honestly is a much better repair manual for this car. It had a lot in it, that the Chilton did not.
